No money spent day

March 8th, 2007 at 10:32 pm

Today our accountant showed up at work and collected all the paperwork he needs to do our taxes. I'm excited to see how it all plays out.

It's a no spend day today which is good. We'll need to try our best to not spend any money this weekend (or realize that if we do we only have the $105 left to last us until next Wednesday so it better be a needed purchase!) My daughter will be watching her team play in the state playoffs tomorrow on TV with a first round game and I think we're going to be spending $20 on these booster t-shirts (when your kid plays you get stuck with these costs...even if she can't physically play) but I'm not sure yet. I'll add it tomorrow night after I know what the total is.

*Thursday spending*
Balance: $105
Spent: $000
Remains: $105

How is your daughter doing? I bet she is pretty bummed about not playing. I had mono when I was a teenager, and it was the absolute pits! I was down and out for almost a week and a half. Thanks for the info about St. Johns. We are still deciding, but we need to know something soon as we need to make reservations. My kids want to go to Disney. Ever been there?

She's getting there. She's able to drink chicken broth and noodles but anything else is pretty much useless the way her tonsils are swollen. She's tough though!

I would say if you have kids they would enjoy Disney a lot more. Of course if they're teenagers they may like St. John but the island IMO is more of an adult thing than a family thing. I think the kids may get bored on St. John (there is still a lot to do there...but Disney might be a better fit!) I've been to Disney a few times but I know it's a lot more crowded than ever! The thing about Disney is there are a ton of deals and specials (lots more than St. John) so you may be able to save some money going there (I'm assuming you're going to Disney World in Florida? I haven't been to Disneyland in California.) Good luck whatever you decide littlemama!
