Sold an old PC!

June 10th, 2008 at 04:55 pm

The old desktop I listed yesterday sold with the Buy It Now option so it's already on its way! After fees and everything I netted $125.92 which is already on its way to the checking account.

So the update:

$272.46
+125.92

$398.38 this month! Two more items went up for listing today as well so hopefully I can continue to make a little extra dough here.

    Hey pcj!

It's nice to sell the big stuff. I have so much "stuff" around here hopefully we can liquidate the majority of it and throw it right at the debt. I got so excited after selling the one I listed my old Xbox with some games and some other PC parts. Hopefully they bring some money!

Great job...I've been enjoying ebay sales too. Did you clear out your hard drive before selling? I have an old laptop I like to sell, but DH is a little worried about someone obtaining information off the hard drive.

It's nice to have you back on board. Keep up the good work.

Thanks guys...I'm glad to be back!

ccfree I did do a format of the hard drive using a utility I got off of the web that does a DoD wipe (FREE utility) so I feel safe in the belief that it was cleaned off. I wished I had the Quick Restore disks that had come with it (it was an old HP) but the buyer seemed content with it the way it was. I actually have a couple more old relics to list PC wise so I'm hoping they sell as well. I love Ebay!
