Grocery bill

March 29th, 2007 at 05:35 pm

Well we bought groceries last night and they came out to $117. We're good on food for the next week and the wife has a decent amount to work with while I'm gone. I'll be staying at my mother's house so I will not have to spend much of anything on food but I will be taking $50 in cash to cover any expenses I have. I'll subtract it from the amount we have left to be safe.

Balance: $334
Spent: $167
Remains: $167

Hello, I just reasently found your blog. And was wonder if you like ot listen to Dave Ramsey. He's my favorite. He has some good books and a class series call finacial peace. Me and the hubby saw in live and it was very entertaining. He is a "snowball" guy. It worked great for the hubby and I. We were 20 and 22 with 7000 debt and some toys. Se got rid of the toys and paid the debt off in a year on 57K a year and I was a full time student without any student loans. Keep at it, it is so worth it. As Dave says " live like nobody else, so some day you can live like nobody else."

Hi little! I'm not sure what it is but I will find out from the Mrs. asap!

Hi Esther! I think DR has some advice that can work for people but I think there are cases where using credit wisely can be very advantageous too. DR sure has a lot of ideas and his advice has worked for quite a few people but I'm not as much of a DR fan as some. Smile
